Fractions: Visualization is my Super Power! What I noticed: 1) Students seemed to lack flexibility with their thinking/representation of fractions. Fractions with circular models (pizzas/pies/cookies)
2) My students who have struggled representing their ideas spatially in math this year (representing arrays in multiplication, open # lines, 2/3D shapes etc) Picked up representing fractions (with manipulatives/visualizing) faster than their peers.

Learning to Learn.... Confessions of Attempting to Hack French Class My journey into coding was not as noble as one might initially believe….. In my undergrad I was required to take an academic course in French in order to get my bilingual certification. I decided to take web designing (and in part) coding- in French.I learned through this that coding was it’s own language all together and the challenge of this digital literacy was way more stimulating then my previous learning in French language….
